Best Hiking & Wild Camping Gear
Hiking and wild camping for nearly 30 years I’ve been through some gear and kit. Some clothing and equipment is crap, some doesn’t suit the use I have for it and some is just awesome.
I’ll recommend the good kit to everyone I speak to given the chance, for example the Sawyer Squeeze Water Filter is a fantastic piece of kit. It enables me to go out for days in the Lake District without taking water with me and NO BOTTLE!
Why Shop Here?
I’ve ‘opened’ this shop to help you start with the right gear. Believe me, it’s better than buying the kit that doesn’t do the job well, searching for the better stuff and then buying that. All you do is put the crap on the Outdoor Gear Exchange for someone else to start with the same crap, justifying it’s existence and lining someone’s pocket in China who makes it.
The links below take you to THE BEST PLACE TO BUY IT. I’ve searched for the cheapest prices but great customer service and quick delivery is important too. I’m also committed to keeping the links up to date.
Sometimes the links will take you to a place where the seller will pay me a couple of quid when you buy a £50 item. This doesn’t affect the price you pay but hopefully you’ll appreciate the work I’ve put in to getting you the best price anyway.
All the best on your journey.
